Background Screening
To ensure the safety of those persons under the care of the Diocese, all church personnel (all individuals who minister, work, or volunteer in any Parish, or ministry of the Diocese), ages 15 and older, will be required to submit a completed Criminal Background Check Form as well as a complete set of fingerprints to facilitate a criminal background investigation.
Become a Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in serving at St. Mary of the Lakes Parish. Volunteers play a vital role in the life of our parish, and we are grateful for your willingness to share your time and talents. To begin the volunteer process, all prospective volunteers are required to complete the Safe Environment Training provided by the Diocese of Orlando. This online training includes a brief quiz and helps ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our parish community.
